Vertical Rotating Balancing Machines
Universal Balancing provides a standard range of vertical rotating balancers in both static (single plane) or dynamic (2 plane) to cover a wide range of applications. Vertical rotators come as a static balancer as standard but are available in a dynamic version as well.
Vertical rotators provide a fast and accurate balancing of components such as flywheels, clutch parts, brake discs, pulleys, fans, gears and other similar parts. They can be equipped with drills, mills, welders and other correction methods that can be done right on the machine manually or automatically.
Universal Balancing UNI-44 instrument is standard on all vertical balancers. Universal Balancing’s standard range of vertical axis balance machines provide fast, accurate balancing of components weighing up to 1.6 Tons.
MANUAL AND AUTOMATIC machines are available to cover the full range of application requirements – either static or dynamic balancing – with precision measurement and correction in 1 or 2 planes.
Our VERTICAL AXIS BALANCERS can be installed as standalone units or equipped with drilling, milling or welding heads to achieve on machine correction in a single operation. They can also be fitted with sophisticated work handling and manipulation modules, or integrated into fully automatic high-speed production facilities.
In addition, our dedicated team of specialists will design, develop and manufacture CUSTOM ENGINEERED SYSTEMS to meet individual user requirements.
Manual machines come with the option of our Windows based UNI-44 computer MEASURING SYSTEM or our entry level UNI-25 DIGITAL SYSTEM. Automatic machines are powered by a UNI-44 with our Winbal software. Our range of vertical balancers is available in single plane (commonly known as static) and 2-plane dynamic versions.
SINGLE PLANE MACHINES are the ideal choice for balancing components with large diameter to thickness ratios ie disc-type parts such as flywheels, clutch parts, brake discs, pulleys, fans or gears. 2-PLANE DYNAMIC BALANCERS are not as common as single plane static machines due to the nature of vertical balancing. If the application suits 2-plane dynamic balancing on a vertical balancer, advantages can be made over horizontal dynamic balancing such as rapid component loading/unloading. On machine correction can be easier when a drill, mill or weld head is integrated.
Our standard range of single and 2-plane vertical balancing machines can be supplied up to 1.6 Tons as standard. They are used to balance a complete range of components with requirements for static and dynamic balancing. All are available with drill, mill and welding units for on machine correction.
