UNI-25 Digital Measuring System
The UNI-25 is Universal Balancing’s entry level measuring system and extremely accurate and simple to operate. Its real time digital display provides fast balancing in 1 or 2 planes with clear visual encoder angle tracking which highlights the exact angle of imbalance when the part has stopped and is rotated by hand.
This flexible system is suited to many types of hard or soft suspended, 1 and 2-plane balance machines. Available as a permanently calibrated unit where only the
component’s physical dimensions need to be entered via the simple arrow keys, the UNI-25 can also be supplied with unique ‘matrix calibration’ data which eliminates ‘cross-over’ on soft bearing machines or machines with special requirements. Data on both calibration and tooling compensation (this feature allows for unbalance or eccentricity) is stored so that the functions do not need to be repeated when the job is recalled. 
Typical machines suitable for the UNI-25 are dynamic horizontal end or belt drive, vertical single or 2-plane, horizontal spindle single or 2-plane, 2-plane propshaft, crankshaft etc. The system is a first choice for upgrading old or obsolete balance machine instruments.
Easy to install and use, the UNI-25 measuring system can be purchased with the appropriate kit to upgrade the balance machine. This comprises new pickups, leads, encoder and photocell for the appropriate type of machine – and a simple step- by-step installation and operation guide.
