Retrofit Packages / Instrumentation
We provide complete retrofit packages, which include instrumentation and mechanical updates for a variety of balancing machine manufacturers. Replacing unreliable, antiquated computers or analog systems, that have hard to replace parts with the latest in measurement technology and software. This can make an older balancer perform like new or even better. At time of installation and training our qualified technicians can inspect and review all mechanicals and recommend repair and /or replace worn or non-functioning parts.
We offer retrofit packages for both hard-bearing and soft-bearing systems and for a variety of manufacturers such as Schenck, American Hofmann, Hines Industries, Balance Technology, GMR, Gisholt, Balance Engineering, IRD and others.
Our instrumentation can be retrofitted to vertical and horizontal balancers as well as manual, semi-automatic and fully automatic systems. The Windows based computers are very fast to install and easy to operate. It takes all the guesswork out of the operator hands and will help improve quality and production rates. This will also simplify and reduce the cost of maintenance and repairs.
The Measuring systems are available as 1,2, 3 or 4 channel instrument with Windows software on applications for Hard and Soft Bearing balancing, rotating and non-rotating machines. Tthe New BTD-Uni44 "electronics" runs Windows allowing greater flexibility in graphical display, communication, networking, SPC & on board HMI.
Comprising a single, sine wave demodulator board and an industrial PC - linked using standard RS232 communications - the BTD-UNI 44 is ideal for:
